It’s been over 200 years since the stock market came into existence and they have always been a dynamic arena. For traders, there are a lot of different ways to try to predict how the prices will move, and then make trades based on those predictions. Conventionally, Fundamental analysis has always been used to understand and evaluate the intrinsic value of a stock.

  • Examining broader economic factors such as GDP growth, interest rates, inflation rates, the overall market environment, and their impact on the stock movement.
  • The company’s financial health through its balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement. Other metrics that are also considered include revenue, profit margins, earnings per share (EPS), and return on equity (ROE).
  • Qualitative factors like the company’s business model, management quality, brand strength, and competitive advantage.
